After her world tour in 1999, Trudy came home with the idea for this album but it wasn't until later that the record company tracked down the phenomenal Mulgrew Miller and got the recording dates lined up. Geoff Gascoyne completed the arrangements and the whole thing was done in two days. Besides Mulgrew on piano, Geoff played bass and Sebastian De Krom, drums. Listen out for some wild trumpet playing from Guy Barker who showed up to lend encouragement and support to Trudy's new project.
